Angela Nicewonder is a Managing Attorney at Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC, where she focuses exclusively on family law and guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging transitions. She began practicing family law in 2015 and has spent the majority of her career representing clients in the family courts throughout the greater Houston area, with additional experience practicing in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for three years.

Recognized for her dedication and skill, Angela has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2016. She is known for providing efficient, thoughtful legal representation while taking the time to explain each step of the process so clients feel informed, prepared, and confident in their case. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, practical solutions, and working toward resolution as efficiently as possible. Angela is also a certified mediator and mediates family law cases to help families settle their cases and avoid costly and time-consuming litigation when possible.

In 2025, Angela founded Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC alongside her best friend and trusted colleague, Judi Strotkamp. Together, they built the firm on the belief that having a knowledgeable and dependable partner by your side makes all the difference during the legal process. They work together to ensure that at Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC clients are treated with respect, honesty, and compassion, while receiving strong advocacy tailored to their individual needs.

When she’s not practicing law, Angela enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with their family and friends.
