Judi Strotkamp is a Managing Attorney at Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC, where she primarily practices family law in and around the Houston area.

After graduating summa cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Judi was admitted to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2013 and the Iowa Judicial Branch in 2016 (now inactive).  Since then, Judi has spent the majority of her career focused on family law and appellate matters.  She is also a certified mediator helping litigants craft settlement agreements that are both fair and efficient to all involved.

Judi prides herself on building positive and trusting relationships with her clients and wholeheartedly believes that this strong bond with her clients leads to effective representation and reassurances that her clients’ needs are being heard and met.  Judi works alongside her clients to ensure they remain informed, prepared, and confident as they move through the litigation process.

In 2025, Judi founded Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC alongside her best friend and trusted colleague, Angela Nicewonder.  Together, they built the firm on the belief that having a knowledgeable and dependable partner by your side makes all the difference during the legal process. They work together to ensure that at Strotkamp & Nicewonder Law, PLLC clients are treated with respect, honesty, and compassion, while receiving strong advocacy tailored to their individual needs.

A San Antonio native, Judi is a proud Air Force wife and mother to a beautiful young daughter.  When she’s not practicing law, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on her beloved UT Longhorns (much to her Aggie law partner’s chagrin).
